Stabilized Maple Burl Hybrid Pen Blank Alumilite Resin Casting

The price listed is per blank.
Pen blank is resin stabilized Maple Burl then cast with Alumilite Resin, dyes and/or mica powders making a beautiful hybrid blank. The blanks have been put under pressure to minimize bubbles. The blanks are all approximately 7/8" wide x 7/8" high and 5 1/4" long or greater.

I cut, dye, stabilize, cast all of my work in my garage. I am an avid miniature painter and enjoy the artistic side the whole resin casting process along with the finished product. Casting wood into resin can still leave holes, cracks, voids that the resin can not get too. I do stabilize the wood prior to casting which will make it stronger, but you may still encounter holes, cracks, voids while drilling, working or turning your piece.
